Marriage Doesn’t Always Have a Happy Ending

Everyone wants to think that their marriage will be a happy one. People have the vision of a perfect fairy tale marriage that will stay that way for the rest of their lives, but it’s not always like this. Sometimes marriages end in sadness and pain. My wife and I thought that we would be together forever, but things ended terribly for us, and I needed the aid of Austin divorce lawyer Eric M. Willie, P.C. to help me get through my divorce.

The signs were there from the beginning that my wife and I should not have gotten married. In public we had a nice image, but behind the scenes we would always argue. Sometimes couples fight about things because it’s impossible to agree with someone 100% of the time, but we did it way more than a couple should be doing. After each argument, we would calm down and be back to normal, but we would be back at it again pretty soon. Things never escalated to the point of physical violence, but our arguments were just so emotionally tough that they took a toll on us.

My marriage with my wife didn’t even last more than a couple of years. We decided that things couldn’t work out between us and we had to split up. The divorce lawyer helped us settle the divorce and arrange the divide of assets between us. It was sad that the marriage couldn’t work out, but it was better for the both of us to stay separated. If we had broken things off long ago, we would have been happier people and would have saved a lot of money in the process. I’m not against the idea of being married to someone else in the future, but I’m going to think a bit before doing it again.
